Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group), a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Maintenance Technicians / Facility Maintenance Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus.

📍 Locations include Manching, Hamburg, Bremen, Ulm, Donauwörth, Immenstaad and other sites across the country.

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities for industrial facilities and infrastructure

• Supervise external service providers (e.g. cranes, elevators, technical installations)

• Prepare maintenance, inspection and test plans and ensure their execution

• Handle supplier management, quotations, technical clarifications and invoice control

• Support maintenance planning and controlling processes

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements

• Coordinate expert inspections and audits of technical systems

• Monitor KPIs related to maintenance performance and plant reliability

• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance and operational processes

What we’re looking for:

• Degree or technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar field

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or industrial plant environments

• Experience working with external suppliers and contractors

• Knowledge of maintenance planning, inspections and technical documentation

• Basic experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus

• Strong organizational and coordination skills

• Experience in project coordination is valuable

Language & eligibility

• C1 English level – mandatory

• German is a strong plus (B1–C1 preferred)

• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country
