Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety-critical software and engineering solutions for the aerospace, defense, and transportation sectors, is looking for Manufacturing Engineers (m/f/d) to join our onsite teams across Germany.

📍 Locations: Manching, Finkenwerder, Donauwörth, and other Airbus sites in Germany

We are currently seeking engineers with an interest in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Structural Assembly, and Production Planning to support major aerospace programs.

Your Responsibilities

• Support and optimize manufacturing and production processes

• Improve assembly, industrialization, and production workflows

• Provide technical support to manufacturing and shop-floor operations

• Analyze and resolve production issues, non-conformities, and process deviations

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams

• Create and maintain work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and technical records

• Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives

• Ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery objectives

• Support the introduction of new products, processes, and manufacturing methods

What We Are Looking For

• Studies in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

• Initial experience in Manufacturing, Production, Industrialization, or Process Engineering

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial operations

• English level B2/C1 minimum (required)

• German level B2/C1 minimum (required)

• EU citizenship (required)
